9 months?! Really?! I cannot believe it!!! She has been outside the womb for the same amount of time as she was inside. It's incredible. I don't know where the time has gone!!! She has come such a long way in such a short space of time. Kirsty is a very independent little girl, she knows what she wants and sometimes has a short-lived meltdown if she doesn't get it!!
Currently, Kirsty cannot crawl, but she adores being on the floor on her tummy, using her arms to pivot round in circles. She can roll from back onto tummy and vice versa. She adores books, especially those with the touchy-feely pages. Her favourite toy at the moment are her stacking cups.
Kirsty is in a good routine, she normally gets up between 6/8am, has 5oz of milk followed by porridge or weetabix. She has lunch around 12noon, savoury followed by pudding, 6oz of milk mid afternoon (usually before her nap), and again savoury/pudding for dinner at 5pm. Then she has 9oz of milk before bed. Typically, she still has 2 naps per day, around 11am and 2/3pm - sometimes she is reluctant to nap though (like right now!!)
When she goes to bed, be it for daytime nap or nighttime sleeping, she adores her dumdum (dummy!) and her nankie (muslin blanket)!
Here's a small "then and now":
