I noticed a few days ago that Kirsty has begun saying her "L" sounds properly. Before, it always sounded like "N". Like "norry" for lorry, etc.
Also tonight she said the "Y" sound properly for the first time, as in yellow. She has always said ne-yo for yellow. Lastly, she is almost pronouncing the "S" sound fully as well!
My bubba is growing up!

Glorious day!
Kirsty and I have spent the day in the garden since the weather has been so gorgeous today! She's had a blast out there!! Great what the outdoors/fresh air can do for the mood, not a tantrum all day :)

Choochoo!!!
Kirsty and I are just back from visiting my parents and it's the first time we travelled by train to go/come home. Wow let me just say how much easier it is on the train than driving for 3 hours solid!! So much better. We fair enjoyed the journey. Kirsty thought it was very exciting to go on the choochoo!!

Fun at the park
Today we had a visit to the playpark at my parents house. Thankfully I took my camera. I've never really used the settings properly, but had a good try of some of them, the anti-blur is fantastic!!

Freezer meals for slow cooking
Ok I wish I had read about this years ago!! I have been searching'reading about freezing the ingredients per slow cooker meal in one freezer bag. So when it comes to making that meal, you defrost the one bag.... tip it into the slow cooker.... cook all day.
How clever is that!! Sounds like my kinda cooking, especially on my working days. March's meals are going to be different in this household!!!!! I already meal plan for a month and buy/portion/freeze our meat so this is going to be extra easier (is that even a phrase) as everything for the one meal will be in one bag!
It's quite sad that I am excited to have found this way for meal planning!

Kirsty 3 year update
kirsty is 92.5cm tall and 32lbs. Our Health Visitor said she is doing fab development wise and is very healthy for her age which we knew hehe! She does weigh less than last time but i'm not concerned as she is so active. I asked about weaning dummy and she said to try not to fret about it as she's still young yet and that cos she only has it for bed it's not such a huge issue. I feel relived as she's so not ready to wean yet but her teeth concern me (her bite is wonky, back teeth meet but her front teeth have a big gap between top and bottom).

Happy 3rd Birthday Kirsty!
I can't believe our little princess is 3 years old today! Time sure flies. She has had a wonderful day. We had a wee party for her and her friends at softplay, then cake and presents at home.

New Theme!
And there we have it! As mentioned in my previous post, the new theme is uploaded and active. Very pleased with it, once again, Joanne at The Faery Tale has done a wonderful job!
New year, new look
I'm in the process of installing a new theme from The Faery Tale (lush themes!!). I thought with it being a new year, it's time for a new look. Now, if only I can find a free and easy to use FTP programme!
